Your privacy is at the core of Meemo. We believe your thoughts, goals, and location should remain exclusively yours. This policy explains how we handle (or rather, how we do not handle) your data.
1. On-Device and iCloud Data
Everything you create in Meemo — notes, checklists, colored spaces — is stored exclusively on your device. If you enable synchronization, data is transferred via your personal Apple iCloud account.
- We have no access to your content.
- We do not use external servers to store your notes.
2. Location Data (Geofencing)
Meemo offers location-based features for reminders.
- Access to location occurs only if authorized by the user.
- GPS data is processed locally by the iOS operating system to trigger notifications.
- No location data is ever sent to us or any third parties.
3. Biometric Data (Face ID / Touch ID)
If you choose to protect your notes with Face ID or Touch ID:
- Meemo uses official Apple APIs.
- The app cannot access, view, or store your biometric data. It only receives confirmation from the system that authentication was successful.
4. Analytics and Diagnostics
We may collect anonymous and aggregated diagnostic data (e.g., if the app crashes) through standard Apple services. This data contains no personal information and is used only to improve app stability.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
All transactions and subscription management are handled via the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your credit card details or billing information.
